These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Boulderest. By creating an account or using the app you accept them.
Boulderest lets climbers browse a gym's boulder problems, log ascents, appear in leagues and share photos, comments and beta videos. Gym owners use it to publish and manage their boulders.
Videos, photos, comments and profile details you post remain yours. You give Boulderest a simple, revocable license to store and display them inside the app so other climbers at your gym can see them — that is the whole point of posting. The license ends when you delete the content or your account.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Boulderest. Do not post content that is:
Every video, comment and profile has a Report option, and you can block any user so you never see their content again. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours: offending content is removed and repeat or serious offenders lose their account.
Boulderest is an information and logging tool. It does not assess routes, spot you, or replace your own judgment. Climbing — indoors or out — is inherently risky; follow your gym's safety rules. To the maximum extent the law allows, Boulderest is not liable for injuries or damages arising from climbing activity.
These terms are governed by Swiss law, with Zürich as the place of jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence are unaffected.
